I use this type of whisp to create series of dots, mostly I use it to put white dots over black line work. I also use this large brush to create fur and feather textures on full faces. I use it after outlining butterfly wings. I drag the same color used for outlining in from the outline into the wing. I also use it a lot for making shaggy wolves.
