You will use the flat side of your\nsponge to activate the paint, and you can draw on the face with it to make the\nshape needed. The sharp end will help you make straight and curved lines. It is important to keep in mind\nthat \u003c\/span\u003e\u003ca href=\"https:\/\/www.jestpaint.com\/Face-Painting-Sponges-s\/1857.htm\"\u003e\u003cspan lang=\"EN-US\"\u003eface painting sponges\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/a\u003e\u003cspan lang=\"EN-US\"\u003e are porous and they can absorb a\nlot of water, so it is always best to only dip the very edge of your sponge and\nsqueeze out any excess water. Now gently by firmly rub the moisten tip of your\nsponge against the surface of your \u003c\/span\u003e\u003ca href=\"https:\/\/www.jestpaint.com\/\"\u003e\u003cspan lang=\"EN-US\"\u003eface paint\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/a\u003e\u003cspan lang=\"EN-US\"\u003e back and forward until you obtain a\ncreamy consistency.  If your sponge is\ntoo wet the face paint will run on the skin and your design will look messy. If\nyou indeed got your sponge too wet, squeeze the excess water inside your water\ncup and work the paint on the cake until it gets creamy again (more paint will\nneed to be activated in order to absorb the excess water sitting on your cake).\n\u003cp\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/inline\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align:justify\"\u003e\u003cspan lang=\"EN-US\"\u003e\u003cinline style=\"font-size: 18px;\"\u003eIt takes practice to get the water\/paint ratio\nright so don’t get frustrated and keep trying. We recommend using a laundry\nmesh bag to keep them from getting destroyed by your laundry machine. You can\nalso wash them manually using soap and water. Make sure to use a clean bucket\nor a sanitized sink to prevent contamination of your sponges. Once they have\nbeen washed make sure to let them air dry thoroughly so that they do not\ndevelop mold or must.
