The LaDot Stones are designed to be used with their line of water proof body makeup (sold separately). Use the LaDot Make Up pad to hold the body makeup while out on the job. This Pad makes application of the ink to the stone effortless, and will ensure proper loading. Keep the case closed between applications so that the ink doesn't dry up. These inks should hold up nicely for 2-3 days when applied to clean skin. You can remove the inks with baby oil or make up remover.
INSTRUCTIONS:
1- Before filling the ink pad, shake the tube. For the small ink pad use 1/2 of the ink in the tube, for the large one use 2/3 of it. Do not use all ink otherwise it becomes too wet. Save the rest for later to refill the ink pad when it becomes a little dry. Make sure to cover the entire surface of the ink pad, if you don't do that the pad will dry out and you won't be able to use it any longer.
2 - After filling the ink pad, wait one hour before use. Always close the ink pad directly after use or it becomes dry (within 10 seconds).* If you follow step 1 and 2 correctly your ink pad should stay wet for a couple of months.
3- Before stamping clean the skin with lotion or alcohol. Avoid places where clothing rubs against the skin.
4- Role the stone over the ink pad, do not push, or the ink will flood the stone.
5- New stones are dry. Before use, role the stone a couple of times over the ink pad. When you role the stone over the ink pad, directly role on your skin without pressure.
6- Pimp the tattoo with stick on jewels and/or glitter.
